- Translating solitons of the mean curvature flow
-
A translating soliton, or translator for short, is a surface \(M\) of \(\mathbb{R}^3\) such that
\[\begin{equation} M_t := M + t v \end{equation}\]
is a mean curvature flow, where \(v\) is a constant unitary vector.
In this talk I will show some existence and uniqueness results for complete translators.
