Geometric shape generation

We shall investigate (geometric) methods to generate surfaces with particular (geometric) properties, e.g., minimal surfaces, flat surfaces of surfaces with the mean curvature of a horosphere in hyperbolic space. Attention shall be paid to the scope for discretization of said methods.
